It's alright to be slow, as long as you take your time.

Why is the SHAFER spelled different ways? on each side of the bow.

That looks like a Schafer Silver Ghost which was a collaboration between Paul and Damon-Howatt Archery (the trad. line of Martin). Paul Brunner sold them through ECO Outdoors back in the '80s. If I remember right, Damon-Howatt laid them out and Paul put the finishing touches on them! They were decent bows for sure!! I think someone refinished that one and spelled Schafer wrong     :knothead:

Here's some pics of one...

I've never shot a Scafer, but like the look of the riser and grip!

I owned a Schafer Ghost and that looks exactly like one. They were a much cheaper version of the Tips. I sold the ghost and some time after the sale, the buyer informed me that the tips failed on it.

definately looks like a schafer ghost, i've had one since 87and have had no issues. I still shoot it, but prefer my bocote silvertip to hunt.

In my opinion, It is the best feeling grip and the best looking riser I've ever had in my hand! Sweet looking bow BTW, love the schafer's     Jason

Nice looking bow. If it shoots as nice as it looks I wouldn't care if all the words were mespelt.

Thanks for all the input. I learned quite alot. It sounds like it may possibly be a re-finished
Silver Ghost. I have a few bows but this is my go to. Maybe a new Silvertip in the near future.
