One snuck up behind me.

Went calling the other day ,first two stands nothing but cold fingers. Third stand snuck into my spot . Mature almonds next to young olives. Get all comfy and right before I start calling. One goes nuts behind me ,yipping and yapping ect. Turn to get a look at it. It was maybe 75 yards out sitting there barking at me. Thinking it might not realy know what I was. I crawled over to the next row and started to get closer . Then another one behind me started going nuts.He was maybe a 100 yards out but could not see it ,was keeping behind the trees. Busted at both ends, did get about ten yards closer on the one before it took off. Seen lots of fresh tracks and sign.Walking back to the truck I saw where one fallowed me into the orchard .Busted before I even got started  next two stands nothing but some more cold fingers. Next time.
