IFL limbs?

I have a WARFed Black Bear and am thinking about the Black Max limbs.  Has anyone ever used them.  I am planning on getting them in the 45-50# range.  Also, what rest do you have on your riser?  I plan on using the bow for deer hunting out of a tree stand.

I have a set of the Black Max carbon limbs.  In my opinion, it is the best limb out there for the money, bar none.   Not only do the look like a hunting limb, they perform as well or better than most limbs at twice the price.

You will not regret buying them.  

As far as the rests go, I use the old flipper rest from NAP.  Great hassle free hunting rest.

As said above, I think the BlackMax Carbon's are the best limb for the money.  

On my hunting setups, I usually build up the shelf and side plate and shoot off the shelf.  If this is the route you choose, you'll just want the highest point of the shelf / most obtrusive part of the sideplate to be directly above the throat of the grip, which is pretty standard, and makes arrow tuning much easier.

I personally don't but the sideplate itself acts as a plunger somewhat as it is flexible and absorbs some of the flex of the arrow.

If you wanted to use a plunger, NAP (as well as a bunch of other companies) makes a stick-on flipper that can be used  with one.

I have both the TT black max wood/glass and carbon limbs. For me the $129 wood glass is the best buy. Others keep posting how great the carbon limb is but for me I cannot tell the difference. I use the T-300 rest with a stubby plunger. Love it. I do like to bend the arm just slightly upward. You can put a new arm on it in a matter of seconds if needed. I keep an extra in my pack.

I have shot a bunch and own two pair of foam core Winex limbs and one set of foam core black glass limbs from Morrison. My favories are the Morrison limbs as they are unbelievalbe well made and very,very quiet!

On my Ilf I use the NAP center rest without the flipper (Its a fixed rest). You will love the Black Max limbs, smooth and fast...PR

I have to second the Morrison limbs, I have shot a half-dozen or so of other ILF limbs, and the Morrison's are, by far, head and shoulders above the others I have shot.

I have Black Max carbon/woods and Glass/woods. Both are a great limb at any price but when you figure you can buy two or more sets of Black Max's for less than one set of most other comparable limbs, it is a no brainer.

I'll triple the Black Max Carbon/Wood limbs, they are working superbly from my Morrison Mini 13. And the price is perfect.

I do not use a plunger with my centerest.
The flipper rest II, or similar rest, with a plunger, is probably a better set up in the long run.
Keep in mind, TT limbs are rated on the bottom side. In other words, a #45 set of limbs will more than 45# when tightened down. Also, most, if not all, not sure, TT recurve limbs are rated on a 17" riser, so you can deduct around #4 going to a 21" BB warf riser.

If price isnt an issue by all means try the Morrison limbs.None better.But for the price either of the black max limbs are hard to beat.

I'm surprised some you are getting by with the Centerest.  I can use it on a Titan or FITA risers, but the BB Warf is not cut enough past center to accommodate it.  Interesting.
