Went for the 1st time last year but wasn't a member of  THE GANG, at the time.  Just wondering who is going up for the opening on friday evening.

I'm thinking friday is the best time for me. Personally, I'm there to "shop" for nothing in particular. But I'll buy a cool tab or maybe something I can find in ASAT, like a hat or gloves.
On friday, all the vendors will be fully stocked. I've gone on a sunday before, and found great stuff, but not in my size, either for tabs, clothing, etc.

Will be there with 2 other Tradgangers...7 hour drive after work Thursday. Never been. Should be fun!!!

Anyone headed from Eastern Iowa?

Thinking I would like to go and it seams like it would be a shame if you get there only to see somebody from your area

I'm going for sure.  Should be fun like it is every year.   :bigsmyl:

I have been contemplating this trip for the first time. Does the lodging fill up fast, or can you get a room if you wait on the decision to go? Not sure how big this gathering is, nor the amount of lodging in the area. May try to talk a buddy into going too.
If man were to know everything in advance, there would be no such thing as adventure!

We are not sure if we are going Friday or Saturday but we will be there.

Hey Mike you should be fine as far as hotel accomadations. We stayed at the Marriot Courtyard and they had lots of rooms left.
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

There's a group of 4 of us that will be there for the opening on Friday.  If you're even remotely interested in buying or shooting a bow that you're interested in, I think Friday is the day to go.  It is much less busy, and you can make your rounds and shoot whatever you please.

Do they allow pics., if so I hope everyone takes LOTS of pics. It sure sounds like a lot of fun. Have fun guys and enjoy.

I'll be there all 3 days.  Friday evening as a spectator, Saturday morning (9-1 I think it is)working the Michigan Longbow Association's kids shooting area with my 2 sons (stop by and say HI, I'll be the best looking one there, but then again beauty is in the eye of the beholder), then as a spectator Saturday afternoon and Sunday.  I look forward to seeing all of you there.

I went for the 1st time last year, I took my camera and took lots of pictures. No one objected. I plan on taking even more pictures this year.

Here's a link to the thread where I posted pictures last year (2nd & 3rd page).
