I mainly shoot 21st Century and Hummingbird longbows but last month picked up a used 55 pound Martin Savannah for so little money I could not turn it down.

Problem is now I can't stop shooting it. I actually like this model better than any of my more expensive bows. I almost feel guilty for neglecting the other bows.

Anybody own one of these production bows? and do you like yours as much as I do? Mine is very fast and easy to hit with. It seems unusually stable and quiet too. What a deal to find one of these things cheap.

Red Tailed Hawk

Ive never shot one but have heard great things about them. Enjoy   :archer2:

Plumber

I had one It was a real good bow however I sold it as I do with a lot of bows.I have a problem I cant help myself.I want them all.I just cant afford them all.I have a northern mist longbow that I will take to my grave I love that bow an would not sell it for 1000.dollars the only bow I regret selling is my assienhimer recurve But I have one of them showing up in a few weeks.

bad arrow

I really like mine too. Its a better shooting bow than I am and looks really nice with its simple laminations. I had one guy here tell me "wait till you shoot an even better bow".  I can't wait either, but then again I don't have that kinda money right now. Even then I doubt it could really be all that much "better"....Phil

As soon as I find a 45 pounder that I can't say "NO" to the price, I'll have one myself. Beautiful bow.

I am a big fan of Martin/Howatt bows,I bought a Savannah when they first came out and still have it and shoot it.I also have two Bamboo Viper's,a Venom and Hunter. All solid shooting bows!

Martin Savannah can't be beat at any price.

I have a lot of bows.Beautiful customs, expensive, but when hunting season rolls around,{or a month before}I always find my martin /Howatt in my hand.Shes my fave, and Im afraid she always will be.I have always felt that performance wise a Martin/Howatt will stand with any of them.Great bows .The guys at the ol Howatt plant take alott of pride in what they do and in my opinion always have.

Sambar

i have a 55# savannah as well it is beautiful loved shooting with it, im now shooting left handed so its not being used anymore. but im going to get a lefty i loved it that much. nice and smooth, very forgiving for a moden reflex deflex longbow, no hand shock and fast as lighting.
Those who hunt miss... those who don't hunt miss far more.
Time spent without bow or rod in hand is time forever wasted.

Light in the hand and shoots great, can't beat them. I got one at Gander Mtn. because noone wanted to buy it, they made me a crazy deal with a extra string and some other extras. I got it new for what they  are selling for used. My wife was with me and bought it for me. How is that for being crazy. That is one that will never get sold.

Zradix

I just traded a bow for one a few weeks ago.
Got a 45#'r.
I really like it.
I'm a one bow type of guy ( mostly for financial reasons)
It's the best bow for ME so far.
Turned me into a longbow guy...instantly.

SCATTERSHOT

I've had a couple of them, and IMO they are one of the better bows out there.

There is a 55# one for sale over on another site. Comes witrh a nice quiver and arrows if someone were looking for one. I have no idea what would be a good price but it sounds reasonable for what they list at.
