Today I took all of my bows out (yes I've sold off all but these) at the same time to shoot...we are about to get hit with a week of rain. I've never shot all four back to back so this was just for fun.

The target was 18 yards (that's all the room I had) and yes today for some reason I was shooting everything high    :dunno:   anyway the bows are ... my two Big Jim Thunderchilds 45# and 50# my Buff 45# and a bow I just got from another member that I am setting up for one my employees. It's a Pearson Couger 42#s (this bow really suprised me, what a nice shooting bow)....all the bows with arrows spined for there weights....

This means nothing but I thought it was fun....

I've got three days off and way to much time on my hands   :)

Thats cool I have 4 fiberglass bows and when my sons friends come over they go out back and shoot,it looks like medieval battle ground.    :scared:    I pick arrows up for days and my aluminum shed looks like swiss cheese.     :archer:

I only have to of my own and I take them and shoot both every time I go out.It is fun.

Actually, what it means is at relatively close range, just about all matched bow/arrow combinations will shoot to the same spot.  A lot of folks overlook this fact and delude themselves into thinking they can only shoot a recurve accurately and not a longbow, or vice-versa, and likewise feel that they need to stick to one bow only to become a good shot. Hogwash, I say.  Switching from one bow to another just isn't an issue.   :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:

Orion, I didn't set out to prove anything to myself but you're right if the arrows are right and the bows set up right there isn't much difference.

The suprise for me was the Pearson Couger, for the $75 bucks it cost it's a Shooter for sure  :)  I had some GT 1575's from my that it loved.....

Wicked looking bows, those Thunderchilds. I shot my one-pieced Silvertip recurve and my Wesley Special yesterday. The WS is nine pounds heavier, and I haven't shot that weight since February, so I really struggled.

Nothing like the sight of a bunch of pretty bows "lounging" around to tickle the fancy of an Archer! Nice collection Kip.

Thanks Danny, the loungers taking a break trying to get a tan. It's sure nice to be off for a few days  :)

I take my bow out regularly and have a splendid time. Looks like your enjoyment was heightened by spreading a little love to all four.

Thanks for sharing.
