This is sad news to hear.  As a rider myself I know how quickly things can go wrong on a motorcycle.  My prayers are with you and your family Larry!

I just can't believe this!!!  I've never met Chris but exchanged quite a few emails with him and just bought some broadheads from him last month.  The world is truly a lesser place without him.  My heartfelt prayers go out to Larry and the rest of the Surtees family and to all of those who knew Chris.
Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)

The Great Jashu

How terrible. I just bought a bow from him last week. I have the bow.... I am feeling I should put that bow up for donations for his family. Someone PM me with how to do that.

Been off-line for a few days.  Corresponded with Chris a few times, seemed like a real gentleman and generous guy.  Way too early to leave the campfire...

I emailed you Terry. Its a Martin Jaguar, I think Chris used it for bowfishing.

Haven't been able to check in with the TG in a while. Very sad news indeed to lose a very stand up guy. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends from Indiana.

Our prayers are with the Surtees Family. It's not supposed to happen like this. Great to see the Tradgang step up. No other community like this one.

Man I've been so busy lately and today was one of the first days I've been able to just chill . . .  and then I see this . . .

Never had the pleasure to meet Chris, but I feel like I almost knew him! My stomach really dropped and the smile that was on my face is now gone!

Prayers sent . . .

Been watching the threads about Chris' passing and haven't really figured out what to say, until now.

First, I want to send my sincere condolences to Chris' family.  May he rest in peace and his family find the strength to go on.

Second, the outpouring of generosity of the TradGang family in support of the Surtees family is amazing, my hat is off to you all.

Im in shock. Although i never met him i had many dealings with him on tradgang, in fact i just bought a bow from him a month ago. A great guy he will be missed in the archery community.Prayers for his family
And in the end when i can no longer draw the bow or watch the arrow embark on its flight;when i posses only the spirit of the hunter, i will hunt.... if only in my dreams... because the hunt is born amidst my soul, and i... i am the hunter

And in the end when i can no longer draw the bow or watch the arrow embark on its flight;when i posses only the spirit of the hunter, i will hunt.... if only in my dreams... because the hunt is born amidst my soul, and i... i am the hunter
