Man!!! I'm not use to this photo bucket thing. I uselly just download pics. from my computer. Well anyway sorry for the 3 pics. of my 15 yd. shot but you can finally see what my first bow looks like.It's a Hellmann 64" longbow #54 @28. I ordered a dz.ceder shafts and some 5" barred shild cut feathers I cant wait to fletch them up and see how they shoot.

IdahoCurt

Try sliding your quiver closer to the riser,it looks like its into the working part of the limbs.Nice shooting!

DannyBows

That's a good looking bow! Nice shootin' too. Congrats!

billy shipp

Good lookin bow, and you're shooting nice groups.

Only thing I see wrong is the bow is built backards  :biglaugh:

IdahoCurt gives good advice....slide the quiver down to the fadeouts and you should be good to go.

i like the way that bow is laminated, looks cool.

Killdeer

Beautiful bow, and better groups! Very sweet, I wish my bow and first groups were as pretty! Good advice on the quiver, have you noticed a difference?

Killdeer   :thumbsup:
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

Frank Hellman made your bow.  He is out of Deer River, MN, small town in the northern part of the state.  I visited his shop several years ago, he makes a nice bow.  He uses mostly MN hardwoods.  Your riser is Ash (lighter colored wood) and the darker wood looks like walnut.  Limbs look like red elm.  Have fun with it.  Chad
