Recent Problems - Review Rules - HELP!!!

Before come to Tradgang I was a Mod on another site. I went to work and did My 8hrs, did My 2hr round trip to go to the shop, Got Home and did the things I had to do. By the time I started doing My Mod job there was things I missed and others missed. It is a hard job being a Mod at times, Hell it feels like a full time JOB.

This past St. Jude's Auction I was helping Terry out and I even missed some thing doing That. I guess what I'm trying to say is everyone can't catch everything all the time so Threads that shouldn't be on here do stay for some time, When other threads about the same thing/meaning get pulled.

rbbhunt....no, not really....that's still just a topic of a 'deal'.

No problem mentioning it *within* a post already started pertaining to silencing a bow.

Kinda hard to explain sometimes, but there are off topic topics that are not necessarily off topic posts.  We do try and find a way to let a topic stay if all possible....but we do have to keep a close eye to keep it a Trad Bowhunting site.

I've always wondered what the site would look like after just one month of zero administration.

Some of these points should be a "must" read for everyone.  We tend to forget that this is a site that is provided (and belongs) to someone else. It doesn't cost most of us a penny, some give back with info, some just take.

when someone else lets me play with their big toy, I can at least play within the rules THEY set down. It ain't mine!  I am graciously allowed to participate.

Good point Bob. I think some people take this site for granted and think of it there own not a service provided by someone else who asks nothing in return other than to follow the rules.  I'd be lost without this site. Sad but true!

I agree with both Magnus and Bob.

I would like to add that it is possible to support the site by being a contributor and sometimes it is with money as well as "what you know and share".

Not everyone can afford to give a lot but even as little as 10 bucks a year could be helpful.

Just look at the top left side, you'll see a "contribute to tradgang" tag, click on it and follow the instructions.

I think Terry & the rest of the administration/moderators do a fine job. Probably my favorite site on the web. I thank them for the time they put in. I'll try to abide & no hard feeling if you pull one of mine.
