Yes it is. Work at the time was throwing out a bunch of boxes, so I took them and banded them toghter and made a cheap "block " target out of them. Works great. Holds up ok to carbons, but dont shoot wood into them . I made that mistake before and the arrow was almost impossible to get out  :eek:

I'm really happy I posted this thread because a few people chimed in and now I have the furnace and the hot water heater FULLY protected, "just incase". My hats off to everyone suggesting that one, you all probably just saved my hide incase an arrow does get away.  

Well, I was gonna ask how long it would be until we saw a "Honey, I need to buy a new furnace" thread but looks like you took care of that issue.

I see a lot of potential explaining and expensive fixing to have to do along the route.     That said, I have shoot indoors in: 1) my old trailer house, 2) an appartment while I was student teaching, 3) an army hotel room at Ft. Sill, 4) my parents' shop at home, and perhaps assorted other places I have forgotten.  Nice work!!  Enjoy!
