Any one have any successes to report?  I've shot at one deer, missed, he was a great buck...didn't act to scared, worried he might not be back, but guess who showed up!!!  Take a look at this guy!  The great thing is he's still checking out a few scrapes near the house.

...the bad thing is it is 11:10pm when the pic was taken! Has he gone nocturnal?

I don't know, I think I saw him since.  The one I saw was heavy like this, but could say for sure it was him...he will be moving soon, the rut will be around 11/7 so I suspect he'll be up and moving.

So many acorns on the neighboring peoperty (which is leased) and not many on the property I hunt.  Deer aren't moving through my area at all.  I've saw 7 deer all year and only 2 of those were on the property I hunt.  I had a chance at a shot earlier this year but that was a whole nother story that I posted earlier this year after he almost stepped on me.
