I have read several posts of folks finding deals at garage sales. It has never happened for me until today.

I took the day off from hunting to get everything ready for my trek to the woods for s couple of weeks. I was on my way home from picking up dog food when I saw a garage sale sign and thought I'd just take a look out of curiosity.

There's a little old lady sitting on her patio when I walk up, the 1st thing my eye finds is this recurve and a box of 17 arrows(15 shootable).
I was so excited I missed getting a cast iron bean pot for 50cents but I ended up with the bow, a telescope and a cast iron bacon cooker for... wait for it... a dollar.. yes sir one buck!!

Here is my treasure. It's a brand I've never heard of, A Shim-Bo X-1, 52" and 45@28. It's not a bad little shooter either.

Does anyone object if I turn this into a give away thread?

If someone has a teenager that can shoot 45@28 that can't afford a bow Just throw their name in here and after it's had a chance to be up for awhile I'll pick a winner.

My ,50 cent bow is a shooter.

Here's a round out of it at a little over 20 yards.

Hahaha!!!! Ken it's a .50 cent bow! You wouldn't have to do much to beat that..lol

Mudd...I have been having church shoots here at my range and have started alot of folks shootin .I will jump in just have a chance to win one for one of the guys at church.Nice gesture by the way.
