Just in time for Halloween and just in time to make the trip to Shrew Haven. Shrew Haven as many know is where the Ghost of Armstrong Creek resides. The Ghost is pretty well know because of the the story poem that has been told around countless campfires over the years. The story was even featured on the Outdoor TV program "Discovery" in Michigans U P some time back.

To honor the Ghost we have come out with a Special Edition "Armstrong Ghost" bow.
This bow is a Shrew Classic Hunter, 54" 52#@ 28". It is Midnight Black with a "mystery" core in the limb. It is sporting a new Eagles Flight bow quiver that is as light as an eagles wing.

This year at Shrew Haven the bow will make the rounds from hunter to hunter to be hunted in the field. The last time we did this was when we came out with the Shrew Lil' Favorite recurve. At the time it had no name but when it left camp it was named and blooded.

I'm sure we'll have some storys to tell when we return from the wilds of Shrew Haven...and who knows, maybe the Ghost will come out of hiding to get a look at the bow named in his honor.

Awesome coincidence....I was just packing arrows, and grabbed some that should fly out of that bow. I can' wait to fling an arrow from it.

Ron,

That was pretty cool. The fire going in the background and the creek scenes. Really nice poem as well. Great bows also. I got a Super Shrew in trade today. It was on the steps when I got home. I strung it up, and flung arrows on their way, to the target true they flew. It blew me away to hold the Shrew and holding her steady she was true. She's new to me the Shrew, I knew when I held her to her I would be true, my Shrew.

All I've got to say is it's a dang painfull thread for me.  Roger, ask Greg to use the ground blind that Diane has been hunting out of this week.  Supposedly she's never seen so many deer while hunting and is having a grand ole time.

I'm sorry I'm missing out on Shrewhaven Prototype round two.  Well, by next year this new job thing will be an old job thing and I'll be back sitting with the Ghost looking over my shoulder.  Sleep fast tonight boys.

Roger that ground blind is spoken for..    :p

Since the Ghost bow is right handed I won't be hunting with it but I'm looking forward to seeing how it preforms in the hands of the rest of the crew.   :scared: ........

Great scenario! I love that shot of "Armstrong Creek". When I put myself in your place Ron, hunting in the early dawn or late dusk, I can feel the hair standing up a little bit on the back of my neck. I'll bet that the shadows could play strange illusions with the imagination.

S C Hunter, that's pretty good. Good to know we have that talent down here.

Very good looking bow Ron.  She would look great next to the first prototype bow that resides on my bow rack!    :bigsmyl:

Good luck guys.  May your travels be safe and your arrows fly true.  Take care guys and I look forward to hearing your stories when you return.

Great poem, Ron! The Ghost looks awesome as well. It's hard to beat those EFA quivers as well. Hope you take another big one!
