Thanks evryone for the nice comments.

I do take a lot of pictures and really enjoy looking back at them, especially years later. They really bring the trip back to life.

All of these pictures were taken with a compact $150 camera.  I have an expensive camera as well, but find myself using this one most of the time. I just throw it in my pocket so it is always handy. I've found if I need to dig my camera out of a pack to take a picture I don't end up taking many. On this trip I probably took over 200 pictures. Sure do love digital over the old film days!

Man oh man. Now I see why we couldn`t excite you with a stinky old `gator. That is some cool territory.
Like you I know nutting about scoring critters, but I was screaming shoot when I seen the first moose and about stroked out when i seen the second.

Joe,

The story thread kept me glued almost every day.  This picture thread just amplifies the fact that just being there is good for the soul!

We sometimes take for granted all the great open places that we can get away to while carrying a bow.  It certainly drives home the fact that just being in "their" home and walking among them is more than good enough.

Thanks for sharing with all of us.  We felt like we were there with you.
