Congrats brother.  I got my first today!  Only problem with it is I was shooting all bare shafts to watch their flight and was not really trying to hit the same spot.  That is my luck.  Hope I get one some day that was intended to hit the same spot!

I never shoot target weight stuff---always hunting weight bows in 55# plus.  My first Robin Hood was back in the mid 1970s with a Herter's bow.  My last one was also in the mid 70's with a Herter's bow LOL.  One Robin Hood in all my life.  I can't count the nocks I've knocked off, or the times I have ruined a cedar shaft--but only one real Robin Hood.

Wander what's up with that a couple weeks ago a friend shot my bow and hooded one of mine .

Saw Byron trying on TV ( amazing shots) but can't remember if he got it done or not. He said it is hard to do on  purpose. Any other way was an accident. Sure let the air out of my bubble.

Cal bow

Congrads. My son center punched one of my arrows a couple of months ago. He was excited until I explained it did not count since it was in the 8 ring.

I got my first Robin Hood this summer.  I was pretty surprised and laughed for a moment, then I realized I ruined two arrows.

Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

I saved the one arrow, and suprisingly I had a nice 4" group of 6 counting the hood.

S.C. Hunter

That was awesome. I had one today myself. I have 2 with my longbow and 1 with a compound.
