That is GREAT!  My son and I have had a few close calls while he was with me, but I have never connected with
he or his sister in the blind with me.

On the shot, I'm betting she was in the process of ducking and turning to jump the string from the noise of the bow when the arrow hit.

Man that's awesome, I know the feeling you have within you right now...I felt it this spring when I finally killed a gobbler when my son was with me.

That is magical. A memory and bond with your son that will never leave or tarnish.  Nice job.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
