That is seriously awesome, and a great story to go along with a fantastic looking elk.  Congratulations!

The story is even better the second time around, especially in January!  Thanks for pulling that one up Randy - you must be getting the fever too!

oh man...I was just getting over my elk hunting fever in an attempt to stay sane and you brought this one up again. I must be cursed or something! That is a great bull!

This won't make September come any sooner.  Thanks for bringing this thread back up.

Hey Randy...thanks for bringing this back up.  I was just reading one of your old Elk kill threads.  Like I said in my short story..."What a deal".
Someone asked where this went down.  A little ol'drainage we refer to as Notellum Crick.
  ;)    "[dntthnk]"

Notellum Crick is located in SW Montana to be more (just a little) specific.

NormanDale33

I wonder how many people will Google Map Notellum Crick now?  :)   :)

Just as good the second time and an amazing bull indeed. Great work.
Show me your ways, LORD,teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me,for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

Hard earned, well told. Thats a true "Mr. Nasty" right there.

The Hawk

That's an awesome bull! I like the mass and the symmetry. I did notice that it looks like you broke your arrow.... Sorry Man..... It's a tough sport!

I've copied 3 pics from this site to my computer, this is 1 of em
Bragging may not bring happiness,

Congratulations! What a "moose" of an elk!

P.S. I guess I should have looked at the date of the original post! Good story anyway.
