Fine bull and nice story with pics.  A bull elk with my longbow is one of my dreams.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.
The bow I was using was designed and built by myself this past spring. It is the first off the form. Maple and Rosewood I-beam riser with maple limb lams and black glass.  I have "snake skin" spandex socks on the limbs (first year mess'n with them).  It pulls 55@27".  Arrow is the Cabelas Stalker Extreme with 160 gn Grizzly head with 100 gn steel adapter and 50 gn brass insert.

I have some friends that demanded to be allowed to measure this bull.  I fought them tooth and nail of course because I dont care about such trivial things        :bigsmyl:

Anyone want to guess his green score???
Could be fun....I've has some folks guess within 3 inches already. Amazing as I can never tell a bull within 10-20 inches if its a big'un.
Of course I'll be a little better now that I have one to compare others to.
