Thumper Dunker, many times the small game has saved the day when the big game gives us the slip. Sure, lets hear about the cottontails. Coyotes too.
Maybe I should have titled this "what have you been successful on in California this year", rather than just deer and bear. Jim

I haven't been out yet.

Got back from Alaska this past Sunday and this weekend I am harvesting "honey-do's".

Next weekend I am getting the AO tag out for D13 and then when A31 gets going I will make the trip out there many times.

Good luck guys
Give me a bow a topo and two weeks, and I guarantee I kill two weeks!

Toby (BTH) is out right now with his wife and some other family. I know he is still healing from an injury that may dictate he carry a bang stick this season, but nonetheless I for one wish him the best of luck.

This season has been a bust for me with a hand injury that nearly amputated my dominate thumb. I am thankful to be able to type this now, as a matter of fact...

Toby, et. al., best of luck in that final light of A-Zone hunting... For the rest of us who bought an archery only tag       we still have B and D zones to tackle.

Best of luck, and wish me the same.

Sounds like rough times in California.  Our early archer season just ended.  Nothing for me.  Looking forward to the late season.
