Well, I didn't expect to buy a new 3-Piece longbow but after reading recent threads on the thunderhorn 3-piece and they having one in stock to match my taste, I couldn't resist.  She is all Bocote with Zebrawood/Ebony Accents, stipple grip and 60" and 53# @ 28".  Perfect for me and ohhhh sooooo smooooooth to draw.  Here are a few pics of her.

Pics don't do her justice.  I couldn't be happier.

Amazing woods, nice design on a 3pc bow !! I like the way the riser tapers into the limbs, great details   :)

I just got a new Thunderhorn 3pc two days ago that's absolutlety stunning as well. I can tell you right now all Thunderhorns shoot great. My bow I just received is Zircote riser with a Tiger Myrtle cresent, Tiger Myrtle limbs with Whitetail antler tips and Stipple grip 58" 51@28 are the specs. Good luck with your Thunderhorn and it's a beauty. I've got several Thunderhorns and they are always the bows I take Hunting. They are one of those bows that everyone shoots well.

I only got to shoot about 50 arrows last evening but without a doubt, the best bow I have ever shot "out of the box".  Hits exactly where I look and is really forgiving.  Not a screamer but plenty fast for my 27" draw length and 600 grain cedars.

Doug,

That is a beauty. I have one of Duane's 3 pc that is a couple of pounds lighter than yours. They do shoot great.
