which 1 piece recurve?

I have 2, 1-piece recurves.  I shoot Rose Oak's Super Wildcat better than I shoot my Blacktail Elite VL.  Both are beautiful and extremely well made by gifted bowyers.  I don't own a Silvertip 1-piece but I'd bet they are also terrific bows. If I were buying a new one, I'd buy the Silvertip but that's because I already have the other two on my top 3 list.

My all time favorite 1pc recurve is a SLEY by Pat Ley. He no longer builds bows for sale, so this one is really special to me.

I'm waiting on a John Maus KAYAPO that should be built soon. I've never shot one, but I have high expectations for it, going on what others say about them.

If I could only have one one piece recurve I'd have to choose between a older Bear SuperK or a new Norm Johnson Blacktail Elite.
I can have only one & money isn't figured into it right?
 Probably a Bear as that's what I started with in the 60s, & the more years add up the more nostalgic I get.

Lot's of great one piece recurves out there for sure!

For me, it is the one piece Silvertip. The checkered grip is awesome, and whisper quiet.
It might be time for another!!

Another vote for RER Arroyo.  Similar forward handle like a PTF but way quieter than the PTF I had.

1967 Super Kodiak...black beauty....haevy in the hands but wow..accurate,  smooth draw and quiet...hadn't shot it in a month (using other bows) picked it up and shot a leaf at 40 yards.....had a grin as wide as the sky....love all my bows but this one seems magic..

So, S.C. Hunter, did this narrow it down for you?              

The one that fits YOUR hand, style and taste is the one you will like.  Short recurves are light and handy but can be squirrely and less forgiving (and pinch or stack).  Long recurves are smoother but more apt to limit you in tight cover and may have a slower cast for the same draw weight.  

And what some consider pretty others do not.
