Guys,

I've been shooting my Quinn Stallion lately and really like the medium, slender grip of the riser.  Having said that, can anyone tell me who makes a wood recurve with a similar style grip?  BTW, I prefer a medium grip over a low grip and am interested only in recurves.

Thanks in advance,

Moon

I believe most custom bowyers will fashion the grip you desire! Lots of good sponsors to choose from  :)

Moon, you can only make wood risers but so thin before they'll break.

I knew cutting it too thin would be an issue to consider but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Thanks guys.

A talented bowyer can actually reinforce the riser in ways that you cannot tell and deal with the issue of weakness.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.
