October 1st statewide, but I have an Urban Bowhunt permit for the Heber Springs zone that has no bag limit and starts September 6th.

I have to agree with Robert and Sal... Check the regulation booklet, but it does open for Archery only on October 2.

Notice I am from Huntington... also Angelina County.

Only ten miles, and I teach at Slack Elementary in Lufkin. Maybe we could get together and shoot...

Here in South Dakota archery Antelope starts this Saturday, 8-21, Archery deer begins 9-25, both always go by way to fast!

I messed up.I was thinkin about this heat lasting till Nov. and typed it wrong.We do live pretty close.I'm in Bald Hill about a mile and a half from Buck creek.

Early bear opens Sept. 18th and deer in northern zone Sept. 27th. Southern NY opens middle of Oct.
