I plan on purchasing some carbon arrows, and teeming them with the 165gr single bevel Zwickey head. my bow is 55# at 28, with my draw being 29.5". Can somebody calculate the numbers and give me an idea of what spine I should purchase?
Thanks in advance

Edit to add: I am thinking about the Beman ICS Bowhunter 340 arrows. any opinions?

download stu miller's spine calculator, google it or use the search here, there's links for it. play with that for awhile and it'll give you a start point.

Are you center shot, or past center, are you shooting FF string. This all comes into play.
Recurve or longbow.

I am shooting a recurve, with a flemish twist string.

AkDan

what kind of string..b50 or ff?  flemish twist is a design....they need the material type  ;) .

Easy way would be to buy some gt's the middle spine group and start cutting them down.   you can use hotmelt on a couple to do this....though you may pull the insert out in a target or two in testing process.  Then once you find the right length you can cut them all the same and epoxy the inserts in permanently.
