Blackcreek Bows ! you better take a look!

Myself,my Wife and my 2 boys took off to Tannehill,Al yesterday to shoot the state shoot and had an awesome time.About 2 weeks ago I called Jim Gainey of Blackcreek bows and ordered a new banshee TDR because I have been hearing great things about his new recurve but until yesterday I've seen only pics of these bows and let me tell you fast and quiet is a complete understatement.I shot a 60" 38lb recurve that he had on display and was absolutely shocked of how fast it was,0 hand shock and hit right where I looked.His workmanship and quality is second to none plus he's great people person.It is great to see someone that truly stands behind his product and takes care of their customers the way he does.

Here is apicture of a recurve Jim of BlackCreek custom made for me. I gave specific direction on the grip and he Nailed it.
It is 56", 42# for my weak shoulder.

I have Jim making me a set of longbow limbs for this bow now. When he gets them done, I will post some pictures. He is going to try to match the bacote in the limbs so I will have a matched set. As Daniel said in the first post, Jim's workmanship is outstanding, second to none. His order wait time is only about 8-10 weeks or so.

Jim's bows are all comfortable, fast, point well, great finish etc. I can tell you if they aint RIGHT he will not sell them.

I can't wait to shoot one of his banshee takedown longbows at the OSTA state shoot in Sept! I plan on putting in an order if it is anything like what I have been hearing!

i got a siren from jim and since i have got it i quit shooting all my other bows i shoot it better than any other bow that i have they are top notch you can pay more but you wont get one any better than a black creek bow

the limbs are some cocobolo that my son sent me for my birthday back in june. just had to use it in my bow. the riser is macassar ebony with cocobolo. my son was just home on leave and when he saw it, well lets just say that i have to build him one similar to it in the near future.

My wife and i will be getting our bows in sept. TDR for me and a banshee for her.
Been on pins and needles since Cloverdale. Cant wait.
