bretto no we dont have tree rats here we aint so lucky. i saw a pic and copied it. oh killie i will take a pic of the border and show ya as i have not finished it yet as i have to do the strap as well. and thank you everyone for your kind words.  :notworthy:

hey frank its a leather wood burning tool it cost me $50 at the warehouse. and it works ok i have just started to do this and i like it another skill to use and fun.

Very cool-now you got me thinking and wanting to get a burning tool...  Is it similar to a soldering iron and you more or less "draw" with the hot tip?  Anyway, great job and I'm with you-can't have too many quivers  :) .

yup it is similar to an iron and ya just draw with the hot tip but slow as they can slip and make a mess. not a good look

no we dont get kangaroo leather here as they are an aussie and protected. and God knows we dont need another import from there.
