We call it mountain money. In the mountains, it's worth more than money. Gary

I also have been using tp for years, works great, nothing worse than being in the middle of trailing and always looking back and wondering where that little speck of blood went that you had only spotted moments before!

you can dab a piece of toilet paper on the ground;(I have even wrapped one hand in it- like a mitten) and it will show blood you might have missed otherwise...
THE VOICES HAVEN'T BOTHERED ME SINCE I STARTED POKING THEM WITH A Q-TIP.

Another way to spend "Mountain Money" and a great idea at that.

Yep me too, put a small piece of TP twisted around the end of a limb is just as visible, and less obtrusive.
Looking back and seeing a q-tip on a branch or blade of grass every few feet, works well for me.
Get into a public area with everyone dropping sheets of TP  can be less than a pleasing experience, and the wind is less likely to misplace a q-tip vs a sheet.
