Well, it's finally happened, I just can't find any Duco locally. Been using it for years, used to be could get it just about anywhere. I know a guy can use fletching tape, but I would like to find something I can just run down to the store and get. I use polyurathane finish and have tried Fletchtite with not the best results. What else is out there?

mattmcdonald

have you tried auto part stores for the duco

I saw it at Ace hardware. Best I've used for urethane.  Good luck.

I get Duco from Lowe's, Walymart, Ace hardware and auto parts stores. Have no problem getting it. PM me if I can help by getting it for you.

centaur

Ace and the 'Dollar' stores have it in our area. That's a long way from Ohio, though.

Yep! Ace Hardware is the place for Duco. If the local store doesn't have it in stock, they'll order it for you.

i had the same problem tonite i called a buddy and he had me get 3M plastic emblem glue at the parts house most all have them i went to o'reilys and got it cause i use 3rivers gasket laquer and and i ran out of fletch tape but it works great and holds up to the punishment

NoCams

tradgangers have been sooooo very good to me over the years so if I can pass along the favor let me know ? I can get it at O'reilly part stores, Family Dollar, Ace Hdw, etc, etc. Be glad to send to anyone on here that needs a few tubes. It costs $1-2 a tube, Family Dollar is the cheapest.

Just got my new Black Widow catalog and they even have it too. I think 3 Rivers carries it also. I too love it but just about kicked the glue habit and went 100% fletch tape. So much faster. JMHO

Family Dollar carries it for 1.00 Wal Mart stopped and said glue sniffers got high on it. I think they are carring their own brand.

Just got back from lunch with Duco cement. Didn't even know there was a Family Dollar store in town, one of the ladies told me where it was. Sure enough they had it, $1.00 a tube, I stocked up..

Thanks for the help guys.  Have a good one.

Anyone ever tried the Saunders NPV on the gasket laquer?

I have a tube  of the 3M emblem glue in the shop at work, I never thought of trying it, I will now.

Dragonheart... Never tried the Saunders on gasket laquer. The Duco on a cracker is outstanding however.   :D
