well denny ya know ya dont have to go all the way down to the south iland to hunt red stags as we do have em in the north iland and its a lot warmer. well did ya do any hunting in my part of NZ or did ya just hunt in the south? nice deer btw.

Thanks for sharing Denny. New Zealand has an unbelievable landscape from what I hear and your photographs just back it up. Congratulations on a successful and memorable trip.

Thanks everyone. This hunt was made possible by one of my hunting buddies. One of the best hunts ever for a lot of laughs, tough terrain, tough weather and more laughs.
Jeff B, I screwed up the post, but fixed it now.
The stag was hunted on the North Island.
