AAE String Maker.  It's only $40 at FS Discount.  I saw the plans for the homemade one but if this one works well then I'd just as soon buy this one already assembled. It looks like all wood.
Love to hear some reviews.

Here's a picture....

Thanks

Have used that jig,but made my own one out of wood for around $10 similar to that one. It's big and bulky but it works just fine, made quite a few strings with it.

I'm sure the jig will work fine.

Here's a simple "How To" from our own Rob DiStefano.

Any chance of getting one of you guys that make your own endless strings to post a video. I found one on the net but there was a clicking sound that made me crazy. I had to turn the sound off.

FWIW, if you plan to make many strings you are probably money ahead by getting an all metal jig.  I had one with wood uprights, and it worked fine--for a while.  Wood gets loose.  I finally had to bite the bullet and get a Yellowstone "Dream Machine".

If you are just making a few for yourself and a buddy or three, the wooden one should be fine.

That looks like a beefier version of one I built a while back. That should be all you'd need right there.
