Salvatore,

My bow is a big River its 64" and 45lbs at 28. It's all I would ever need although some of the thick brush it was hard to shoot because the limbs would hang up.

The other bow is a Keith Deiters Boo backed osage. You cant buy them. If you want to know how they perform ask Doug Cambell, Ken Mowrey or Keith Deiters or just look at the cooler full of frogs as his bow made most of the meat.

He was able to use some arrows that were special to him as well but I will let him tell that saga.

Ron, we'll go back in the morning. Take some leaches home with you. they are easy to catch. If you make a commotion in the water they all just swim right for you. You can stand in one spot and just pick up 5-10 easy.
Not kidding Ishiwanabe's arrow carries some amazing mojo.  Thank you Jamie.

Tomorrow Drew will make meat Even if my bow stay's in teh truck that will be goal # 1.!
Relax,

You'll live longer!

Lee Robinson .

This would be a great way for my daughter to express her "traditional skills" in a hunting type setting. So, do you eat the frog legs? Are they much trouble cleaning?
Until next time...good shooting,
Lee

Osagetree

Man that's some good fun and good eating there!!!

Boogie is fitting,,, little green boogie!

Leo,
extremly easy to clean and taste GREAT. as the saying goes "taste like chicken" but THEY REALLY DO!! just got back, the guys are still hammering them and i believe Ron W is going there yet tonight. brought my kayak today and killed one while sitting which was hard to get use to. going to make maybe one more outing and then have a cook out. will take pic's of preparing them for the pan when we do.
Joe,
yeah thats what Charlie tried to name my bow becouse of the green color!

Izzy,
great spot man, very big. we are only going to make one more outing there though so not to spoil it. we owe A LOT to Ron W for this spot! have idea's in the works for a TradGang frog hunt next year. frog hunt/cook out type of thing with the major idea of being for the kids. i believe this spot can comfortable hold 15 hunters at a time. as i said we are about done hunting there though so as to save it.  looks to be some really good spots down the road that we will scout.

Ken, Im not suprised but youve made a wise choice letting it rest a while.Ive burned spots out before and it happens real fast.I understand that they have a long life span and dont grow very fast but dang they sure are fun hunting.

Wow guys, Im impressed.
Charlie, that arrow has a little to do with it, but I think that wore off long ago my friend.

I should probably try to get permission to bring a few of ya out around here...big frogs. When I was a kid, I caught them by throwing a hookless rubber worm out, and waiting til they stuffed it into their mouthes. All of, I dont know, 8 inch bodies. BIG legs. Hmmmm.
