Got back from the CTAS shoot in CO and check my bank statement. Low and behold there was a charge for a cow moose tag here in UT. I never thought I would ever be able to hunt moose, now it's just a couple months away. I am very excited! I might have to do a moose hunt a long   :D
I will be scouting in the next week or two and will have pics!

I just saw her down the road at a yard sale! Oh, your tag is for Utah. If you quartered this one you still couldn't get on a road with a seasonal weight limit.    :nono:

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"

You dirty dog! I was at max pionts this year but just put in for a piont. I wasn't sure if I could get enough time off this year. I'm glad to see you drew. I'm sure you will post some pics.  :clapper:    :clapper:    :clapper:

Congradulations Moose is my favourite big game animal to hunt,Some of the best meat there is.

Very cool Ryan!!! Looking forward to following your hunt via cyberspace!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Izzy

Awesome!!! A couple years ago I stalked a big ol cow in Timpanogas canyon area with nothing but my camera.Got to within 10 yards before she got startled. This also startled me and I made the wise choice to run back to the truck. You hunting anywhere near there Ryan?

steadman

Izzy, I am hunting in the Uinta Mountains. They don't give out any cow moose tags for that unit you got pics in. 10 yards would be perfect   :bigsmyl:

Good for You Ryan. Is that a once in a life time tag?

I'll be watching this for updates.

bretto

Ryan, that is wonderful!  Always love hunting along side of you here

steadman

Bretto, this is a cow tag, so it's not technically once in a lifetime, but I'm treating it like that. In this state you never know IF you will ever draw a tag, especially one like this.

Good luck Ryan!!!  Hope to see some great pics soon!

You'll notice the "luckiest" elk hunters have worn out boots.
