Tom as stated in the MTB site below we can't make it this year because of a wedding that I am in but THE PREZ Les came over to the house the other day and we worked on new shooting stakes and welded re-rod for the 3-D targets for this years shoot. The new re-rod will make life a lot easier when you set up the 3 D targets.

I am sure, as years in the past this will be another great shoot and Chris and I are sorry we can't make it.

Owlbait, we established the shooting fees at the last council meeting, they are as follows:

Shooting fees for the Jamboree (unlimited, includes 2D, 3D and canoe shoot): Member Individual- $25.00, Member Family- $40.00. Non-Member Individual- $35.00, Non-Member Family- $50.00. New-Member Individual- $40.00, New-Member Family- $45.00.  Children under 16 shoot for free. Special Events: Long Distance Shoot- $1.00 for three shots, Aerial Disk Shoot- $1.00 for six shots.

By the way, non-member prices are higher due to the fact that special insurance needed to be purchased by the club. Members are covered under the MTB insurance policy.

I wish I could have gone!

I've never been to any shoot, and never shot a 3D target.  My sons would go absolutely ape to shoot at the great 2D targets like I saw posted on page 2, and Dad would enjoy it too!      

I'd love to get together with some other traditional archers and enjoy the camaraderie and glean wisdom from seasoned stick & string shooters.

Looks like a great time.  That canoe shoot is an excellent idea!

I missed last year because of my health. I plan on driving from Ga up this year and helping out. Always have a great time with a bunch of great people.

Ryan,If you ever do get a break from your worthy day job, please contact some of us on here and come on. The month of June would be a great time to come if you want to shoot. Cloverdale,IN then Compton,then Grayling. Three of the best shoots around,three weekends in a row. Have a great day.

I enjoy just going there to relax and have fun. I love the 2d targets, and having the 2 courses to shoot means that it is almost a walk through when its shooting time.  I have been going to this shoot for the past 8 years or so and will miss my nephews graduation party this year because of it. If you show up and see a set of twins shooting say hi!  Enjoy and "Life is good"

Okay last year I spent all my money at Compton, had a good time but couldn't make it up there to the MTB shoot. This year I have to miss Compton. One of my brothers lives by Higgins Lake near Grayling and I'm 99% sure I can make it up there this year for the weekend. I love it up there and I can vouch for the Bear's Den pizza joint.

What are the prices looking like for this year? Will I be able to grab feathers and arrow making stuff?

The 2-D's are amazing!

I have a small shoot here at home that I will not miss. The MTB sounds alot like it. The landscape is awesome. I would like to make it!

Was out to the sportsman club 3-D course last week. Bring your bug spray as the mosquitos are super thick this year, I've never seen the pond so high before or the woods that wet.

I had a great time there. Great courses,awesome terrain,unique targets. I'm going again this year. The only gripe I have is gas prices. But,I can't do much about that. Fun shoot guys. If you have'nt went,you owe it to yourself to check it out.  rat'
