Yea you guys are killing me. I read the posts and go to the website and boy does he have some beautiful bows. I am trying to be really selective in my bow buying these days, but you guys are making it really difficult. If there are any other bowyers out there that I don't know about that build beautiful fantastic shooting bows like South, please don't tell me about them.

Ryan, great bow! I ordered a 62" 57 at 29 inch Grey Actionwood Stealth, handle and limbs. Have always wanted an all grey, no-nonsense bow I can drag through elk country and beyond.

Don...yours may be the purtiest but I am gonna kill a big fat cow elk with mine first

Other bow was sold, with money in hand......I contacted South and placed my order. Specs are, 64", 50# @ 29 1/2". Tillered for three under. Woods in riser are gonna be Cocobolo and Osage, with limb veneers also being Cocobolo and Osage.......depending on how I get the riser built, either osage in the center and cocobolo on the outsides......or vice versa. I'll get the limb veneers so that they match up with the riser.

I'll just anxiously sit and wait while South works his magic. His wait time, as someone said is only about 6 weeks and he does build his bows in "batches". For those of you considering ordering.......I would count on this lead time increasing. He told me that he had received "several" orders this past week or so.

After shooting one of his bows last weekend at Comptons.......I've been on a mission to get an order in for one of my own.

Mission.......Accomplished !!!

Cocobolo and Osage.....SWEET!
I like the looks of the darker woods in the center, but it's only a personal preference. Do you know how much more he adds  to the tiller for three under?

I know that I asked him about the difference in tiller for three under when I met him up at Compton and he told me....but.....I forget. Oh, and I forgot to say that I'm getting his "Striker" model. I told him that if he had any osage and cocobolo with "character" to feel free to use it on mine.

He really wants the people that order bows from him to be happy and get what they want. A person couldn't expect anymore than that.

I can't wait to get it. Oh, and he told me that you had been a very good "spokesperson" for him on the islands. Of course we both know that all a person has to do is shoot one of his bows,and it does all the "recruiting". I think in no time, his waiting list will be months instead of weeks out. I tell ya.......there truly is something in the water out on the left coast. I REALLY like the grips on their bows, and that is more than half the battle for me.

There isn't such a thing as an "ugly bow". It doesn't make them shoot any better....it only causes a person to have to keep cleaning up the "drool".
