I like making strings, and would like to hear about/maybe see your favorites.

I'll start - Flemish, b-50 with red/black or yellow/black.

I like 12 strands of dynaflight97 (but have shot a few 9 strand strings). I use a 3 ply and padd the loops to form a total string count of 30 strands in the loops.

I use black as my "base" color and then add tracers of tan, red or burgandy, yellow, or other "stripes" depending upon the colors of the bow or arrows used. I think this makes the ideal looking and performing strings.
Until next time...good shooting,
Lee

I've only ever used B-50. flemish, currently yellow, black and green.

Pretty much all of my strings are three-color endless -- Dyna97 for newer bows; B50 for older ones. They're black, brown, and white, just like my beagle.

LBR

I prefer Dynaflight '97, with 8125 coming in at a close second.  I prefer flemish, but also make endless, and sometimes use one on my bowfishing bow.

No idea what my favorite combo is--I make around 1,000 strings a year, and see lots of different ones.  Most look good to me.

I should add that I use more black than any other color--several pounds a year.  Brown, tan, and bronze are popular also.

Flemish twist 8 strand D97 padded with 16 strands of B50 in the loops. I pick colors to match the bow I have it on. Have this string on all my bows now.

B-50 Flemish, Black/Brown and Yellow/Brown are my favorite combinations.

"Ric O'Shay" makes some mighty nice strings. I'll try to get him to post a few pictures. He is kinda bashful though.  :knothead:

KEG

I use 9 strand D97 with loops padded to 15 strands. String is all black with black wool balls as silencers. I use .030 black and white serving material. They didn't have all black serving when I purchased it at a traditional shoot.

Shaun

TS1+ is still my favorite 12 or 14 strands. Flemish with Halo serving. Black, yellow, red, green, pumpkin orange are the colors I have now - mix and match as the mood strikes me.

cahaba

D97 9 strands with 14 strands padded loops. I like 3 ply in black,tan,red
