My back hurts just looking at the monster hog! Glad to hear I'm not the only camp dog (shows up with a can of soup and mooches) type hunter. Now get back out there and get that longer one.

That is one heck of a hog.  Way to go Matt!   :scared:    I couldn't imagine shooting one that size.  But when I do I'll be calling Biggie to help.

Great pig Matt!

Biggie, I agree with you, that one just might shade 300....

Many congrats Matt....wish I'd have been there to see it myself.  That is one big boar right there.

Go anymore pics?...I'm sure the gang would love to see them.

Take care.

Man i bet your heart was about to jump out of your chest with that monster only 5yds away.

Years ago before i took up trad archery i was hunting in North Alabama on a 6,000 acr private farm.

One morning it was raining and i was easing through the woods when a herd of pigs came running toward me, i had never seen a wild pig before.

Anyway i unloaded my clip and shot and killed a 280 lb pig that was running in my direction and let me tell ya i was shook up to say the least.

My hat goes off to you my friend for holding it together and making a great shot.

Congrats Matt! What a great story to go with a great boar. I'll bet that pig isa 300 pounder, my friend shot a 300lb barrow hog ( we weighed it biggie )and it was around the same size and of course didn't have any shields and they weigh a lot.

All I can say is WOW.  If I lived where there were pigs, I'd most likely be divorced by now.
