Hi guys,

Two months ago we lost our wonderful and dearest labrador "Noa" at an age of only 9 years due to a uterus problem. We were heart broken as you can imagine. Early May, just before we went to the US for vacation, we contacted a friend who is a labrador retriever breeder and lucky for us she had a 4 weeks old black female labrador that she wanted to sell to us. Last Monday we took her to our home. So here she is and I already started training her to retrieve lost arrows.   :archer:

Great lookin' dog.  She doesn't appear to be afraid of a food bowl either   :)

I have one of those too.Mine is yellow.fetches arrow when stump shooting.Sometimes handy.

gotta love those labs.  my yellow lab gets so excited when i shoot, she almost tries to grab the arrow out of the air!  i haven't lost an arrow in years.  she's now trying to train the neighbors dog to do the retrieving - -

Can't beat a lab. My 6 year old black lab retrieves all my ducks, finds arrows, sheds and is a good bloodtrailing dog.

Labs are the best, I wish they lasted longer.

Cute pup and always great to have them find your lost arrows.

I wonder if my Siamese cat will retrieve?

Hey, 18th, your Siamese should hang around w/my American Tabby.  He does retrieve (when HE wants to!!-typical cat!!)

Beats taking your shoes and socks off in the winter to look for arrows under the grass.

LOL, i had a siamese female that would drive you nuts throwing things for her to fetch and retrieve, her favorite was an old phone cord coil. She has been gone now for several years but was with us for 17 years.

Arnold,
Great looking Pup but I'm sure glad I ain't got that grocery bill! If you haven't got a name for her yet I bet Opra would fit her perfect...

JPNTN

Beautiful pup!  There was an arrow retriving dog at a shoot a while back - found my arrow in some thick cover.  I would not have believed it if I hadn't have seen it.  Don't know if my French Brits will do the same, but I'd like to see.  Wishing you years of happiness with the new pup and many arrows found  :)

Congrats Arnold! I can smell the puppy breath from here! Are they your "ugly" training arrows Arnold? They're nicer than my best ones!

Shame on me I forgot to mention her name:
We call her "Rani". (Hindu for "queen")

So pretty.

Your mom and a lab are the only two things that will love you no matter what.
