Ive seen frogs attack other frogs and big old fishing lures but this guy was just plain old nasty.Besides the mouse when the boys and I were cutting off their legs we felt something else hard in his gut.Cut it open and pulled out a big crayfish.I would have given him a pass if Ida seen what he was trying to swallow but he was facing away.I shot another big one right after him but didnt get pics cause I was so caught up I soaked my camera.Luckily it is drying nicely and the LCD came back on today.Missed a couple more but thats just as fun in my book.I shot them with a 145 Hex head on an MFX 500 and I have to say I like em, much better than judos for big old predators like these.

Nice pics.  I wouldn't have believed that one without the photo.  Good eatin' too. I'd like to shoot a mess of frogs like that for a frog fry!

I didn't know frogs could eat something that big. I was born in the south and all my years growing up, I never seen the like. Cool pic, thanks for sharing!

I may stop over to John's on my way to the Mashall primitive shoot Friday, I will tell him of your exploits. That is pretty cool.
