Looking for Ideas!!!!!!!

I'm looking for ideas about a trip/outfitter for this fall. Elk is what i'd like to hunt but it's late for trying to draw a tag to my knowledge. Anyone out there been in my shoes and had good experiences with an outfitter?

Don't go with IMB outfitters I guided for them in 06'.they look good on the outside but they're sorry behind the scenes.Sorry I'm so blunt but its the truth.

It may be a little late to plan an outfitted elk hunt for this fall.  Most outfitters are booked at least a year out.

If you are willing to DIY then Idaho and Oregon both have over the counter tags for most of the state. Not a trophy quality hunt and probably fairly challenging but its an elk hunt.
