LW hand climber and a LW Alpha Lockon.

i like the screaming eagles, solid, silent, and no weight limit.

Ameri-Step Outfitter hang-on and a set of Rapid Rails - can't go wrong.

Sold my summit (though a good stand), bought a Lone Wolf. Quieter to set up. I went for the large. I love that extra room/step when I am going to be there a long time. It's not that much heavier for a loc-on. I also have the climber.

Another vote for the Lone Wolf Alpha!

I also have a Screamin' Eagle, that I have used for close to 20 years, and love it!

Lots of good ones out there today. I'm using Gorillas and Muddy's. Both are very good stands.

I have to go with the Lone Wolf.  Also, their climbing sticks are the best strap ons that I have ever used.
If it isn't life or death, it's no big deal.

I normally hunt out of loc-ons but the summit open shot deluxe is a great climber when you want to be mobile.

I have tryed them all and for me there's not a better stand fro shooting a stickbow.

I know a lot of people like the LW but im 6,2 and man that stand is hard to climb a tree with.

We've gotten rid of everything else and have nothing but Lone Wolf hangers and climbers. They're packable, lightweight, stable and safe.

I really like the Summit Open Shot.  Well built, very light weight, and stable in the tree.  I personally do not like the LW climbers, but that is just me.

I needed a portable stand myself as I normally use ladder stands set out way in advance of season.I found a need last few seasons for something back packable,lite-weight,and easy to climb/get into a tree fast for carry in one day hunts.I never really have been a climber stand guy but figured this would be my best choice so tried a Lone Wolf Hand Climber and the Summit Open Shot.I like the OpenShot alittle better so bought the Open Shot Deluxe model added a nice set of backpack carry straps and a bow holder. I also bought a lite-weight lineman style safety belt which works while climbing and as a safety belt once setup and ready to hunt. I have only used it a few times Hog hunting this spring but so far it has been a nice setup to carry and hunt out of.

I used a Loc on spirit for longtime and loved it, only thing didn't like was seat was too low.  Had a Summit copperhead, that was nice, but stolen, Bought a muddy to replace it with and wow, like how it sets up, quiet and portable.

Don't discount the Chippewa.  It is a great stand, goes up as easily or easier than any I have seen.  Quiet, comfy.  not cheap, but neither is ten "other" stands that I bought before I finally bought my go to Chippy.
