I am shooting a 65# self bow without a self was wondering what size aluminum arrow shooting a 28 inch draw

Thats hard to say being a selfbow without trying out a few sizes.With selbows not all cut the same as far as how close to center shot it is.I would try maybe a 2018 with a 175 gr. point,I would start full length and trim and tune from there.A 2018 with 175 gr. point will give you roughly around 590-600 gr. arrow.Just a suggestion as a place to start.I have had selbows that were 55# and they shot best with a 40-45# arrow and have had some that were almost center shot because of the way the wood was.Depends on how much you have to flex around the riser.You may have to try a couple of different spines to see which arrow would fly the best for you.
