Good Going Greg.

Seems like you always come home with quarry, so I'm not surprised at all.

Good Hunting! Good Shooting!      :notworthy:

Work is for people who don't know how to hunt.  People who don't know how to hunt, don't eat well.

Thanks everyone. It has been an awesome 2 days. I am sleeping in tomorrow, working nights is great but getting in bed at midnight and waking up at 3:30 takes it's toll and my camera man is busy tomorrow. I'll be out in NY sat and sunday chasing birds and back in CT on monday. My NY spot isn't quite as good but not too far off. Yeah I made some good shots but setting up my deke at 5yds helps! Haha
The key is really just being where the birds want to be anyway, even if there are hens you still have a chance then

I was using my "old" shrew, 58" 49@28, I used flat black cloth tape on the limbs for in the blind, 570 grain(total) MFX 400 with 100 grain insert and 175 grain VPA Terminators. I was using a "sassy sally" inflatable hen from cherokee with a "turkey skinz" that my buddy gave me. The real feathers really add to the deke cause they ruffle in any breeze and help catch the wind to spin her a bit.

Greg...you dog!  You da man!!!!!

I knew you would get into them.  Sounds like a sweet spot.  Nothing like lots of action to keep you awake!

See you later.
