7 and 3/4 is where I shoot mine. I think 7.5 to 8" is recommended.

The old order is passing. Swiftly receding into memory are the days of strong, earnest men who followed an atavistic yearning to pit their skills against wild animals.

Recommended is 7 1/2"-7 3/4". Mine likes pretty close to 7 3/4".

By the way, Silvertips take a shorter string than most recurves, ie: on most recurves that are 60" AMO or whatever AMO, thhe actual string length would be 4" less, ie:56". for a Tip the actual string length is 55" for a 60" AMO. Just something I found out in talking to Beth.
