Beautiful weather here today and I had a day off.  I decided to go out back and maintain my home 3D course.  Brush was hauled and limbs pruned. I even moved my targets so in the evenings I will be shooting to the east.  A setting sun in your eyes makes it hard to focus..

My PGA getting some sun. It has really turned a honey color.  A couple years ago it was a bright yellow.

About 20 steps..

My "backup" deer.  I keep this in reserve until I have to retire my daily shooter.

What shooting broadheads does in a couple years. I usually get around three years out of a target. Shoot out both sides then shoot the "rear" section in two..

Is that the Ichabod buck target.   :biglaugh:   That is a nice piece of property you have.

From the looks at your target John, your a great shot. Funny thing is that I seem to nail that shoulder to and its a PAIN to get the arrows out of the plastic! Nice setup you have there!

Looks great to me.  Sounds like a great way to spend the day.

Thanks all.. A beautiful day to play out in my 3D range.  Both deer are Riverbottom Bucks I think they were about $80.00 a peice.  I'm sure a better quality target would hold up better.

I shoot really well when I focus well...  I always try to practice just like in a hunting situation. Treestand or on the ground kneeling and sitting on my bucket.  I never shoot 3D courses because I want to shoot broadheads all the time.
