I sure am sorry you can not make it this year Bowdoc. Tom called yesterday and filled me in. We will miss you but you are where you need to be and there is always next year. We hope your wife continues to get better.

Of course we understand.

Sorry to read this Don, it gives me a heavy heart. I'll miss you in camp my friend.   :campfire:

Looks like all the bald bears will be safe this year.  :goldtooth:

Bowdoc: You know we're all very disappointed you won't be able to make it this year but know in your heart you're doing the right thing. Believe me when I say we all understand. Camp just won't be the same without you but rest assured you'll be with us in our thoughts. I'll be sure to tell our replacement of camp cook/entertainer that he SUCKS... just so we get you back 8^) Best wishes to Mrs. Bowdoc for a speedy recovery. xoxo UB

I'm sure everyone on this trip is very disappointed you won't be able to make it this year Bowdoc.  But I know for certain there is nobody more disappointed than you.  We all know how much this trip means to you, but of course you are doing what needs to be done.

You are an honorable man Sir, but then we have all known that all along.  Glad to hear that progess continues, and hope it won't be long and you can bring her on home.

Your Right Whip, He's doing what he thinks is right. Mrs Doc's a first class Lady. And after spending a hr on phone with him this morning. I can tell ya, He's just as traumatized as any. She's a tough Lady and would ship his rear out on first plane, if she had her way about it. I have spent the last 12 yrs hunting, fishing, and shooting with him.. The fun he is to have around camp, will be missed. Just makes next year much more rewarding. Good luck to all, and can't wait to see Mr.Langer's next production. Best Wishes.

I am dissapointed that I will not get to meet you BD, but my thoughts and prayers are with you anyway.  Stay strong.

Family first Bowdoc. We are sure gonna miss you around camp. Please get the Mrs. well and give Her our prayers. Look forward to sharing another camp with you soon. Diablo, Big Bill and myself while baiting this weekend, would be driving to the next bait-silent-trying to catch our breath and one of us would blurt out "MAN I'M GONNA MISS BOWDOC THIS YEAR-BUT HE IS WHERE HE NEEDS TO BE" time and time again!!

U.B.-Been a "Stunt Double" more than once for the "Celebs" -glad to do it!!  :knothead:
Seriously though-could not stop thinking about you like I do my Dad. Stepping onto the stand for the first nights hunt, if the strap had not fully broke on me, it may have on you, alone for maybe 8hrs or more before we would have thought to look for ya. "SHIVERS"

Bill,
I'm sure glad you weren't hurt worse than you were. A very close friend fell from his stand last season and broke both leggs. He has not been able to go back to work yet.

I am to say the least VERY lucky! Bumps, minor cuts, head ache and sore back and neck. Blessed to be able to FEEL it at this point.

Lets be safe and have FUN for Bowdoc and the MRS.
