Talked to Tom today. I'll be in week two. Signed up back in July after reading the long string of posts about how much fun everyone had. Can't wait to get there and met some quality Tradgangers. Bringing a bear home is secondary to meeting a great bunch of guy's and making some new Trad friends.

Tom,Doc and bowdoc gonna miss all of you but my love of 38 years won out this year.I will be in N.Y and Boston from the 12th/19th with Boston on tail end.Tom not sure how far either place is from Peru but if Paula is close by I would love for her to enjoy an evening meal with my wife and I, if doable for her.Take care Kip

Monday I went and got all my necessarys together for my Passport. Next I went to the Court House and paid the funds and they said it would take 4-6 weeks!! So I am good to go! But dang, all this to cross the Canadian Border?? LOL!!

I shoot a Robertson Tom.  I dont know if its on the list, but Ive been advised to bring earplugs.  Wapiti saws some serious wood!!!!

I'll be bringing my Bear 3 piece t/d this year and most likly shipping it to your place ahead of time.After paying 50.00 each way last year(extra bag fee) to bring a 1 piece bow that won't be happening this year bd

Not sure on the bow yet, but it'll either be a shrew classic hunter, blackwidow, or a new tall tines if it get here in time.  Tom what arrow weight, bh do you recommend?

? now if I bring a bow that is lets say 70" long not only does it cost me an extra 100 bucks but the bottom limb keeps hitting the ground when I let the string go ??? weird huh ? I know bd

Whatever arrow broadhead combo you choose should be fine just be sure: PERFECT arrow flight right out of your bow (shots are UNDER 10 yards for the most part) also SHARP broadhead.

Thanks Tom. What time do you typically head out to camp?  I'm thinking of driving up and spending a layover in Jersey to visit my 102 year old grandmother before meeting up with the group.
