:notworthy:  Great shooting I also would try broadheads. Good job

Bjorn

I would be very happy with that result!

Arrows are good, but I'd lower the nockpoint, just a tad.. I guess broadheads should correct the slight stiffness..

For shooting groups like that, I would have to see some proof that changing anything would be better????   Great shooting

Well unless spotteddog is left handed, I see a little nock high and slightly weak...which will make for a very forgiving arrow when fletched...plus they're all hitting together so, it looks to me like you're good to go...

If this is what they're consistently doing, I wouldn't change a thing....

But maybe just tweak the nock a little lower to see if they come in a bit flatter...

Fine for shooting targets just like it is.I would up the point weight a little if hunting. When mine comes out like that useing 125gn points I shoot 3d just like it is and use 175gn points for hunting.50 gns will weaken the spine about right so they won't be stiff. That tune at 50yds will put your bareshafts left of center over 6".If you short draw any at all like happens when you hunt they will fly left with broadheads. jmho

Kepp practicing....you'll get there

That's excellent shooting. Not trusting my memory I checked O.L.'s tuning guide and according to that bare shafts to the left of the fletched shafts mean they are stiff. That is if you are a right hand shooter. If anything the bare shafts should be slightly to the right, which shows weak. Feathers would stiffen them up. You're close enough that you could just not do anymore bare shaft tuning and move on to tuning fletched shafts with broadheads.

Don't sweat it: we all get a couple of fliers like that now and then.

I agree with Robert - Broadheads will tell the story you really want to see...

the two bare ones up top look a bit tail high??  Or is that just the camera angle?
When using the method as outlined by O.L. Adcock, you go by how your bare shafts group in relation to your fletched arrows instead of how your nocks are positioned in the target. Also, what your target is made of has an effect on how your nock position is in the target butt. [/b]
:knothead:    :bigsmyl:  , duh, the fletched shafts in the picture would have been my clue  :biglaugh:  , I normally do both at the same time!  Is that bad

Uh, Dude? I see a little light between the arrows. Keep trying! Someday, all that practice will pay off with a tight grouping.
