finding antlers

If your haveing trouble finding them do as I do each year for the last 30 plus.Have them shed them where you want them to.I've found 100's.
 There's all kinds of antler traps out there.If you know where to look for them and what to do when you find them.
  Find old american wire fence lines.Places where the farmer dobbled them back added new and left the old or where it's knocked down.I'll pull them up off the ground 6,10'S NOW SPRINGLE corn all under it.Where the bucks have a hard time getting to it but end up catching there antlers on the fence getting to it.The same places I'll also take corn on the cob tie a string in the middle and tie it under the fence.This way your buck stays and trys to get to the corn while hitting his antlers.
  I even have places where I tie it to standing fence rows.Sink holes filled with old roles of wire.I even tie some in the middle of standing brier patchs.Anywhere a buck hits his antlers on while feeding.
 Most have heard of antler traps.And on some farms or place I have to put them out.Very few hunters even know there there.I mean the ones already there.

Pretty cool antler trapper.Im assuming this is a whitetailmethod.It gets my braingoing for muleys and elk.Maybe I can beat them ol porcupines to them more often.

I am going to go out this next weekend to look for some blacktail horns here in oregon for the first time. besides ones I have found durring hunting I have never went searching for just horns but it seems like fun. Thanks for the tips!

Thanks for the tips! This should increase my chance at finding sheds. I haven't been the most successful shed hunter in the past.

If I'm just looking.Look in late season food scoures as well as bedding areas.Trails leading inbetween.H ere in WV check out anything green exspecialy honrysuckle patchs where they'll bed right there.In short anyehere bucks spend alot of time late season.
  And yes they were all whitetail.But I'm sure this will work on anything that will come to corn late season.Bigger the antlers the harder for bucks to get to the feed.

Cool Idea,Tell em whwere to leave the sheds!Now if I could just tell em where to be during the season I'd be all set
