Lots of good looking homemade stuff one here. Lots of talent for sure!
Most people get rich by making more money than they have needs, me, I just reduced my needs!

I love seeing all the great stuff every one is making. I wish I had more tools and knowledge to make some of the stuff that is being done. Here is a sample of what I do.

I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

Here is a few pictures of my first attempt at a neck knife sheath. I made it for my friend Ryan (Manitoba Stickfinger) as a thank you for all the help he has given me with hunting and traditional archery. It's nothing fancy but I was happy how it turned out and it should do the trick. The knife is a Timberline Mini Pitbull.

after the guitar I decided to take another baby step, which is a U-finish bow.  Just a simple "D" shaped longbow with glass backing.  60# @ 28", and I wouldnt have had the finishing experience without making the guitar!

just finished this one, little pouch that holds my fire starting supplies!  Looks rugged as can be but, really it is not very traditional at all.  Tanned with chemicals, suede lacing, and b-50 for thread, but man does it look primitave.

Jerry those are cool basket quivers really like the one with the fur trim.

Have you seen Art Vincent's quivers? They are really, really sharp!

A couple of you asked to see my Limb Bolts again but could not find them in the huge number of posts. So, here you go. I am trying some different woods and also Granite. I will post some more pictures of the new batch.

This is a shadow box- about 2.5" deep.  In it I placed heritage/tradition/memory stuff for my 21 year old son.  The backboard is his first skinning board, the arrow head- his first trad. harvest arrow, a toad shooting arrow, turkey feathers are from his first bird, and all the pics are generations (4) of grand (great-great)fathers, uncles, dad (me), all with outdoor harvests/experiences.  The color photos are him growing up with lots of hunting/trapping experiences in the outdoors.  This is a valuable memory and tradition keeper for him.  Lots of memories and tears for dad! What a treasure!!

KSDan,

That is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen......not for what it is, but for what it represents.  Your son will have something that he will cherish for the rest of his life....I'm sure he will pass it down to his sons as well.

Your post put a smile on my face.  My hat's off to you sir.

Frenchy, That is nice looking. I like mounts like that, but Euro-mounts I like even better...

Heres a knife I back back in my teens out of an old buss saw blade. Dall sheep horn handle and bison leather sheath. Sure has skinned out a lot of critters !
