On an ILF bow, how loose are the limbs when the bow is unstrung. Because here in Wisconsin, we have to have our bows unstrung or in a case until a half hour before/after legal shooting time, would it be an issue carring an unstrung bow into/out of the woods? If so, the DAS attachment would be a better set-up. Does a DAS have less vibration when shot, compared to most ILF bows? Thanks.

ILF fittings "snap" in place and hold the limbs to the riser, but they are free to move around some.  That should not be a problem.  The DAS have a screw attachment, but will still be about as "loose".  Again, no problem.

There is always discussion on which is quieter, but there really seems no difference.

 

Given that specific scenario, you would indeed want to closer attention to the ILF connection—but not much of a problem.

Is the Hoyt/DAS connection quieter?  I don't think it's an issue unless you get to the far ends of the preload spectrum, then.... maybe.

Boy that's a problem for sure.  Most ILF fixtures are semi solid and will at least rattle when not strung.  I'd go with a Dalaa and the DAS connection.  Tighter and more solid.

Of course I'd put Dryad Limbs on it for sure.  LOL

Considering how easy they snap in and out without tools, toss the riser and limbs in your pack and assemble the bow when it is legal.It only takes about 30 seconds.
